pepperminteyecandy: I think the notion that I should hide my disease or keep it a secret is totally fucked. How can being open about my having MS be a disadvantage? Anyone who is not willing to date/employ/befriend me because of it is not worth my time/effort/energy/love. I understand that…

It's April...
It is NOT supposed to be HOT like this.   Last night was awful, I was so hot, I kept on getting that darn hug.  Hopefully it will cool down soon.

Weeping for the future indeed...
Some folks thought that Titanic was just a movie?  Is this serious?  Part of me wants to believe that this whole thing is just a few crazy kids who wanted to create a stir, but there is another part of me that is terrified that for some this is a *true* reaction. How come I wasnt informed that the Titanic was a factual historical event??  Who do I sue? What have we created? ...

And that's all Im going to say about that.
I need to vent for a few minutes.  Taking steroids causes you to gain weight, I’ve both heard and read that weight gained by steroids can be more difficult to lose.  I believe it and Ill tell you why. If you are taking steroids due to inability to move - hoping for your ability to return to you,  right off the bat, you can’t do as much exercise as you used to.  Unless you drastically...

littledip: To my fellow Ms patients: don’t you hate when someone asks you what’s wrong, you tell them and then their immediate response is, “oh that happens to me all the time.” There’s a huge fucking problem with that. Yeah, I get it. People want to connect with you for defense mechanisms… Oh I hear you, also bad when you mention your fatigue and “why don’t you just take a...

The Issue with Marriage
The difficulty with marriage is that we fall in love with a personality and must live with a character. -Peter De Vries The curse which lies upon marriage is that too often the individuals are joined in their weakness rather than in their strength — each asking from the other instead of finding pleasure in giving. -Simone de Beauvoir Reminder:  Marriages are not weddings…

I’ve just been doing the same things they do, just sometimes lowering the weight or resistance, and that’s not good. White Until Proven Black: Imagining Race in Hunger... →
I still find it strange.  I wish they would do a study of people - *all* of the people who thought Rue was white even after reading the book.  What is their reading comprehension overall? The #sticktothebookDUDE hash tag was so strange to me.  They were sticking to the book DUDE, it was YOU who didn’t get it. What kind of future?   I think it is ridiculous to even suggest that authors...
